Q. Hello! Who are you and what’s your backstory?

Hey Friend, I’m Umer Qureshi, I am a school student but a passionate blogger by heart.

I love to help people and that’s why I started my blog GuideBlogging to share the knowledge I gained with others and help them to scale there blog.

Backstory? Interesting

I started my blogging career back in the year 2017, I was at 8th standard and I had a lot of free time because of summer holiday.

I used to spend most of my time on the internet to find some income source and that’s how I came to know about blogging.

It was not easy for me in the beginning. I faced many problems but I kick-started myself and improved my knowledge time gradually and started my blog to help everyone so they don’t do that mistake and grow easily.

Q. How did you come up with the idea of making money online?

As I told earlier, I was looking for earning source for myself and that’s how an idea of making money online came into my mind.

I must say Blogging and Affiliate Marketing is the best way to make money online.

After coming in blogging I realized that making money through blogging was tough but then I thought how bloggers like Harsh Aggarwal, Ankit Singla are earning so well.

I kept researching and investing in finding some solid strategies which can work for me. I kept experimenting with many things and eventually started getting some results.

Q. What does your daily and monthly earnings look like?

It’s fluctuating but I make a good amount of money from consulting and from affiliate marketing at present.

I do not really depend on only one source of earning. I’m making flows of earning.😊

Q. What challenges did you face while starting online?

While starting online the first challenge I faced was being a school student I didn’t have the money to invest in the resources like – domain, hosting and many other things.

The second challenge I faced was time management.

Q. How are you doing today in online business and what does the future look like?

I am doing great today and doing what I am passionate about.

My future plan?

I am definitely planning to continue blogging and take it to the next level.

Q. What’s your daily routine and work ethics?

This is the list of some tools which I am using in my day to day life.

Q. What have been the most influential books, blogs, training, or other resources for you?

I am not a book lover but read some of the books like – Rework and Rich Dad Poor Dad.

For gaining more knowledge about blogging and other stuff I read blogs like – Backlinko, Neil Patel, Shoutmeloud, Gotch SEO, and many other SEO blogs.

Q. Advice for other aspirants who want to get started online or are just starting out?

Blogging is becoming difficult so you need some solid strategies to stick here and earn passive income.

Many bloggers jump into blogging because they think blogging is a get rich quick scheme and after struggling for a few months they decide to quit.

My advice for new bloggers who are starting out is to start a blog in a single niche and work there for some years and you will definitely see exponential growth for sure.

Q. Where can we go to connect you and learn more about your work?

If you guys want to connect with me through my blog GuideBlogging and also you can follow me on Twitter, Quora and also join my VIP Facebook group.

Thanks for reading.

  1. Thanks Sandeep & Umer Brother for sharing this great conversion.

Your time schedule will definitely help everyone. Time management is really a big challenge

I have some questions for Umer-
    1) Is this your first blog?
    2) Do you run any other blogs along with guideblogging.com ?
    3) Is server location affect in any prospect such as ranking, speed, etc? (Because I found that almost all bloggers use foreign server location but you are using Indian Server location)

    Kind Regards

    • Hello Erika,

I was able to start this interview series just because I got a huge response to the interview proposals I sent. Everybody was so interested and keen to share the knowledge they have. It was an awesome feeling and a positive start for me.

Umer was the second person I contacted for the interview and he instantly said yes to it. I felt motivated.

I would also like to thank you for being a part of this interview series. The respect that you gave to the Hindi language made me feel proud of it. Thanks.
